1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files saved by the browser on the user's device. Under Article 173 of the Polish Electronic Communications Law and Article 5(3) of Directive 2002/58/EC (ePrivacy), storing information on terminal equipment requires consent unless it is strictly necessary to provide a service expressly requested by the user. BlueWato uses only such strictly necessary cookies — which is why we do not ask for consent and merely inform you.
2. Which cookies we use
| Name | Where | Purpose | Lifetime | Type |
|---|---|---|---|---|
bw_lang | bluewato.com, bluewato.pl, myremde.com | Remembering the selected website language | 12 months | necessary (functional) |
remde_lang | panel.bluewato.com | Remembering the panel language | 12 months | necessary |
remde_sid | panel.bluewato.com | Identifier of the logged-in user session | up to 7 days from last use | necessary |
remde_csrf | panel.bluewato.com | Protecting forms and the API against CSRF attacks | session | necessary |
remde_trust | panel.bluewato.com | Marking the browser as trusted (skipping the 2FA code) — only at the user's request | 30 days | necessary |
In addition, the website stores in the browser's storage (localStorage) a bw_cookie_notice flag, which prevents the cookie notice from being displayed again, and the panel stores view preferences locally (e.g. the device list mode). This data is not sent to the server.
3. What we do not use
We do not use analytics, statistical, advertising or tracking cookies, we do not embed third-party scripts (Google Analytics, social media pixels, fonts from external servers) and we do not pass cookie data to third parties. Once payments are activated, the Stripe payment form may set its own cookies necessary for processing transactions and preventing fraud — solely on the payment pages, in accordance with the Stripe cookie policy.
4. Managing cookies
Cookies can be deleted and blocked in your browser settings (Chrome: Settings → Privacy and security; Firefox: Settings → Privacy; Safari: Preferences → Privacy; Edge: Settings → Cookies). Blocking necessary cookies will make it impossible to log in to the panel; blocking bw_lang will cause the website language to be determined from your browser settings on each visit.
5. Controller and contact
The data controller is Nadmorskie Centrum Internetowe, ul. Bławatkowa 10, 84-100 Puck, Poland, privacy@bluewato.com. Further information on data processing is provided in the Privacy Policy.
